Everything is going to be OK
Just popping in to share another of my cards from the last PC call that didn't make the cut.
This was for the water challenge. To create that background paper I liberally brushed water onto watercolor paper and then dropped a single drop of black reinker in the center of the paper . The colors will spread out and separate a bit. I just let it sit and dry. There will be a dark spot where the reinker was dropped, so my doily is strategically placed to cover that.
The sentiment is a Verve Plain Jane that was embossed in white on the vellum.
The doily is from Curtsey Boutique, the twine is Trendy Twine, and the button is just a little clear button that I got in a pack of 100 from Tuesday Morning. If you guys have never shopped at Tuesday Morning I highly recommend it. The shop is usually a huge mess, and there is a lot of digging that you have to do, but I almost always find some fun little treasure for not a whole lot of money. Check it out!
I'm also going to link this up with this week's Simon Says Stamp challenge (Anything Goes) and the Moxie Fab World Create Your Own Backgrouund Paper challenge.
Anyway, gotta run, lots of projects in the works, and lots of fun stuff coming up next week. We have our next Little Tangles challenge on Thursday and some great Blog Hops too, including this one, which I am really excited about!
